WOMB 25TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY
WOMB, one of Tokyo’s most iconic clubs, celebrates its 25th anniversary with a special party on Saturday, April 19.
The main floor features Richie Hawtin, an artist closely tied to WOMB since its early days, along with Machìna, known for her live performances blending modular synths and vocals, and Gonno, who delivered an open-to-last set at last year’s anniversary.
To mark the occasion, Richie Hawtin, WOMB, and Niigata’s Abe Sake Brewery have collaborated to create Spark, a limited-edition sake available exclusively for the anniversary.
On the first floor, a sake lounge will be set up for one night only, offering tastings of Spark with quality dance music by Moodman, Satoshi Otsuki, and Word of Mouth.
The fourth floor highlights drum & bass, a genre WOMB has championed since its early days. DJ Aki, DJ Toyo, Velocity, and Keita will deliver liquid drum & bass sets infused with jazz influences.
This party kicks off a year-long series of 25th-anniversary celebrations, including special events and exclusive WOMB merchandise—stay tuned for more!

SPARK”: Richie Hawtin–Curated Limited-Edition Sake for WOMB’s 25th Anniversary

To celebrate WOMB’s 25th anniversary, a special collaboration sake called SPARK has been created by Richie Hawtin, WOMB, and Abe Sake Brewery from Kashiwazaki, Niigata.

This exclusive sparkling sake is based on Abe Sake Brewery’s renowned SIRIUS from their Star Series, and was specially brewed to mark this milestone. The idea began when Richie Hawtin visited the brewery in person and, after tasting several selections, was particularly struck by SIRIUS—setting this unique project into motion.
