TOHO – 東方良音 – returns to WOMB on Tuesday, May 5 (day before a public holiday)!
Having drawn over 2,000 attendees across its first three editions, TOHO brings together DJs shaping Japan’s next-generation techno scene. This time, a special B2B set by Olivia Mendez and Daichi Wada has been confirmed.
Olivia Mendez, founder of the label Dust in Grooves and the FLINTA collective KONVENT, is a regular at Berlin’s iconic Berghain and made a strong impact during her Japan debut earlier this year.
Daichi Wada, the first Japanese artist to perform at Herrensauna and Mala Junta, has also gained recognition across Europe and Asia. This rare collaboration between two leading vinyl DJs making waves on the global techno stage is not to be missed.
The lineup also features a strong selection of DJs driving Tokyo’s evolving club scene.
On the 2F floor, Lynta and Yui from ENSITE—a Tokyo-based collective with close ties to leading European crews—will appear, alongside Eplog and KOSEI from the Tokyo-based party/label ROIRO, known for its “Mystic and Energetic” concept.
The 1F floor will showcase a crossover of soulful techno with house, disco, and trance. Hypnotic grooves will fill the space, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. Don’t miss the first-ever B2B set by Kurea and TNSEEI, as well as the debut appearance of RINALUCKY, who continues to expand her presence both in Japan and internationally, including performances in Korea in 2026.
On the 4F floor, a deeply immersive soundscape unfolds, centered around deep techno while blending breakbeats, jungle, and drum & bass. Artists such as Kotaro and Rikuto Shibazaki, among others, push forward more experimental and forward-thinking sounds, each bringing their own unique approach to techno.
