As the longest resident party at WOMB, 06S has been leading the Japanese drum'n'bass scene for 20 years. The curtain closed with the final party in January 2020, and at that time, resident DJ AKi announced that he would be releasing an album, but the pandemic stopped all activities in their place. Two and a half years have passed since then... With conviction in the midst of uncertain circumstances, they have continued to produce music that expresses the messages and ideas they have sensed from the times, and have finally released the album "THE EDGES BETWEEN THE LINE". Fixed on the first Saturday of every odd-numbered month starting July 2, 06S is DJ AKi + YELLOCK's album release party this time.
The DJs will include TT and KEiTA from JDNBA, led by the multi-tasking genius Maury Robertson, who is a journalist, DJ, musician, author, and more. YASUKI, the scene's most gentleman, and ASSiGN, the fashionable leader in drum'n'bass scene, will be performing as well. With people who have been away from clubs gradually returning to the club scene, and with the occasional visitors from overseas, the Tokyo club scene seems to be regaining a little bit of its vitality. It would be our greatest pleasure to celebrate album release with all the people, old and new, involved in drum'n'bass at this 06S.
