DJ YAMATO is the driving force behind LIBERO, a party series that brings the vibrant, open-air vibes he’s experienced at festivals around the world right into the heart of Tokyo. His signature events include Stained Glass, a party known for its powerful sound and stylish atmosphere, and the seaside summer bash GOONIES.

Currently, YAMATO organizes a variety of events across Tokyo, including OPEN AIR at ageHa, Inside the Universe at Sound Museum Vision, and after-parties at Ruby Room and R-Lounge. He’s also been a regular at major venues like WOMB, Contact, and Christian Café. His sets have ignited dance floors at renowned festivals like Dance on the Planet, Solstice, Mother, OZORA One Day in Tokyo, IBOGA20 in Tokyo, PSY-FI Warming Tokyo, and Green Magic.

Internationally, YAMATO has earned high praise from audiences across the globe, with standout performances at GOA in India, Universo Paralello Festival in Brazil, and HADRA Trance Festival in France. In 2020, he officially joined the respected psytrance label TesseracTstudio.

YAMATO’s style is rooted in psy-progressive trance, but his sets skillfully cross over into psychedelic, tribal, techno, electro, deep house, and minimal.
