ReFuCafé began his career as a DJ and synthesizer player in 2008. With drum & bass at the core of his DJ sets, he is known for a crossover style that moves freely across a wide range of genres. His performances bring a strong live element to the dancefloor, layering piano and synthesizer playing over his DJ sets.

He is also highly active as an event organizer, producing numerous emotionally driven spaces with a strong emphasis on concept and atmosphere.

Beyond music, he is also a life science researcher and history enthusiast. All of these diverse pursuits converge in his distinctive aesthetic of “ReFu = RetroFuture.”
