MONKEY TIMERS

(DISKO KLUBB)
A DJ duo consisting of TAKEKAWA and HISASHI, who started their career in 2008 after accumulating experience in the underground scene since the 2000s.

In 2009, they established “DISKO KLUBB”, which includes DJs, Yamarchy and Jitsumitsu.
Their self-produced MIX CD received highly acclaimed by CHIDA, which sparked their pubic attention.
Furthermore, their original tracks “MONK” and “ALABAMA” have been played by various well respected DJs, leading them to be in the international spotlight.The two have performed at countless both domestic and international parties such as Rainbow Disco Club and Boiler Room. The long-awaited full-length album “KLUBB LONELY” was released under the Amsterdam-based label Sound Of Vast.
In 2023, they once again proved their sharp musical sense by performing an Open to Last at Tokyo’s WOMB to celebrate their 15th anniversary.

They also gained admiration as a production unit reaching beyond their music taste.
