MAA began DJing professionally in 2008 and has since performed at numerous underground techno parties across Tokyo. His selections center around minimal techno with tight, low-slung grooves, while his sets reflect an unwavering sensibility shaped by years of firsthand experience on the dancefloor.

He is also highly active as a graphic designer, having worked on numerous album artworks for artists including AOKI takamasa, RADIQ, Yoshihiro HANNO, and FUMIYA TANAKA, as well as the TECHNIQUE 20th Anniversary compilation. He is also responsible for a wide range of artwork for CABARET RECORDS, the label run by dj masda and So Inagawa.
