A legendary and charismatic DJ who celebrated his 39th year as a professional DJ in 2024, KO KIMURA has been at the forefront of Japan’s club scene since its earliest days.

He has played a pivotal role in shaping Japan’s house music scene, inspiring and influencing countless DJs of the younger and middle generations who are active today. Widely recognized as one of the most influential DJs and producers in Japan’s electronic music scene, he continues to make his mark on dance music culture.

Beyond his DJ career, KO KIMURA pursues a wide range of creative interests. He has written a series of articles for a Harley-Davidson magazine on restoring motorcycles from the 1940s, shared his culinary adventures from around the world through published features, and actively explored projects related to animation.

Never one to rest on his past achievements, he continues to push creative boundaries and contribute to culture in his own unique way.
