Tokyo-based VJ BigBaBy began his career as a DJ in Japan’s Kansai region in 2019. He relocated to Tokyo in 2021 and started performing professionally as a VJ the following year.

His experience behind the decks gives him an instinctive understanding of both music and the dancefloor. His work spans house, techno, trance, psytrance, hip-hop and EDM, as well as Japan’s rapidly expanding anime-music and otaku club culture. Regardless of genre, he creates visuals tailored to the music, the venue and the energy of each event. Built on precise audio-visual synchronization, his approach centers on making the energy of the dancefloor visible and drawing the entire crowd into the world unfolding around them.

He has performed at events of every scale, from major festivals such as SUMMER SONIC and ULTRA JAPAN to leading Tokyo clubs including ZEROTOKYO, WOMB and CÉ LA VI Tokyo. He has also performed as a VJ for numerous international artists at their shows in Japan.
