After the major success of the December 2024 collaboration with DJ Nobu’s Future Terror, the NYC- based rave institution Sustain-Release is embarking on a world tour in 2026.
In collaboration with PACIFIC MODE, the Tokyo–NYC collective that has supported the S-R TOKYO series since its inception, the next edition is confirmed for Saturday, February 7th at WOMB.
Now in its fifth installment, the party welcomes another powerful lineup of artists from Japan and abroad.
Opening the night is DJ MARIA., a central figure in Japan’s new wave of techno artists, known for dynamic sets that traverse groovy techno and trance with ease.
Montreal-based producer and ‘NAFF’ co-founder Priori will present an immersive live performance, showcasing his modern interpretation of dub techno and tech house.

After breaking years of silence with his 2025 album “Under Tangles Silence” on Fabric London’s ‘Houndstooth’, the genre-defying artist Djrum returns to Japan. His performance—blending Modern Classical, Broken Beat, Dubstep, Jungle, DnB, and Trip-hop across three turntables—promises to be one of the event’s highlights.
Closing the main stage is Aurora Halal, founder of Sustain-Release and a pioneering force within contemporary underground techno.
The first floor brings a powerful cross-continental exchange.
DJ G, director of NYC’s seminal venue Nowadays, joins forces with Jek, founder of the psychedelic, progressive-leaning NYC label Earth Dog, for a rare B2B set.
They are joined by DJ Yazi, an essential member of Future Terror and one of Japan’s most respected techno DJs.
Reflecting the breadth of PACIFIC MODE, the fourth floor brings together three artists who each offer their own distinct atmosphere.
Hue Ray, known for his enveloping, synth-rich approach from U25, sets the tone for the room. Returning to SR Tokyo is Lil Mofo, whose reach now spans from Tokyo’s underground institutions (Shinjuku Open, Grassroots) to global stages such as Berlin Atonal, Wuppertal’s Open Ground, Bristol’s EN MASSE, and underground parties across the US.
Completing the lineup is YELLOWUHURU of FLATTOP, delivering inventive sets rooted in house yet unconstrained by genre conventions.
