Drunken Kong’s resident party, Intention, returns! Known for the high energy that fills every floor, Intention celebrates its 10th anniversary this year with a special end-of-year edition on December 28—Vol. 2! Plus, it’s packed with even more excitement as we celebrate Drunken Kong’s Kyoko’s Birthday Bash!

The main floor will host Mladen Tomic from Bosnia and Herzegovina, an artist who has released on Christian Smith's label Tronic and his own label, Night Light Records. Legendary DJ Wada will also perform, bringing his 40-year career to the stage. DJ Wada has released the mini-albums Intuition (’21) and Intuition II (’23), as well as the album Co-Fu 3.0 from Co-Fusion, with the upcoming Co-Fu Four set to release on Harthouse in 2024. Joining them will be Japan’s melodic master U:ICHI, who always brings the heat to Intention, and Shogo Ito, whose debut release Till You Drop / Shogo Ito & Maya Miller on Beatfreak Recordings hit #14 on Beatport’s Minimal/Deep Tech Top 100 chart. Visual artist Comboy will set the stage with his captivating, immersive visuals.

In the Womb Lounge, Yamato will bring his expertise as head of Libero and organizer of the popular party Goonies. AJ, born in Texas, and known for his performances at ageHa’s main stage and the Ozora Festival, will also join. Representing Japan’s psytrance scene, Ponta recently joined United Beats Records, a top psytrance label based in Barcelona. Zero, who has joined Cape Town’s Expo Records, and Hiroaki Wada, resident DJ of Space Seeds, known for his crossover sets in techno, trance, and ambient, will round out the lineup.

On the VIP Floor, Sugiurumn—with over 150 titles released on his own label Bass Works Recordings—will make his debut at Intention. Recently, he’s been performing as part of the band The Alexx and is working on his first album in seven years, set to release this summer. Also joining are Jun, a popular female DJ with a dedicated fan base; Avion, who has been expanding his reach as a producer and event organizer with events like Sanctuary; Jit, one of Intention’s resident DJs; and Misa, who brings incredible grooves to every set.

Vol. 2 of Intention’s 10th anniversary is sure to be a night filled with festive energy!
